Search Modes

Choose the search mode that best fits your needs:

Neural Search

Default mode. AI understands the meaning behind your query and finds semantically similar indicators — even if you use different words than the official indicator names.

Keyword Search

Exact text matching for when you know the specific indicator code or name. Fast and precise.

Research Mode

Deep multi-step analysis that goes beyond simple search. The AI agent researches your question comprehensively, gathering data from multiple sources before presenting results.

Agent Processing Steps

When using Neural or Research mode, you’ll see a visual indicator showing real-time progress through 5 stages: Understanding query → Searching indicators → Fetching data → Preparing visualization → Analyzing results. Detected entities like countries, indicators, and suggested chart types are displayed as they are parsed.

Search Tips

The more specific your search, the better the results.
  • Instead of “economy” → try “GDP per capita growth”
  • Instead of “health” → try “health expenditure as % of GDP”
  • Instead of “environment” → try “CO2 emissions per capita”
Add countries to scope your results:
  • “unemployment in Germany”
  • “China GDP growth”
  • “US vs EU inflation”
Add time context for better results:
  • “GDP growth since 2010”
  • “inflation last 5 years”
  • “trade trends from 2015 to 2023”
If one search doesn’t work, try alternatives:
  • “jobless rate” → unemployment
  • “cost of living” → inflation / CPI
  • “greenhouse gases” → CO2 emissions
  • “foreign investment” → FDI
Reference economic blocs for quick multi-country analysis:
  • “G7 GDP comparison”
  • “BRICS population growth”
  • “EU unemployment rates”
  • “OECD inflation”
